Hi Support Group member,

Dinner Out -- please reserve early this month, because I may not be receiving emails or texts 8/26-29. I will need to give the restaurant a number on Monday August 25. Our group's monthly Dinner Out will be Wednesday August 27, 6 pm, at Oriental Gardens, 1528 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, TX 77339. This is for present and former caregivers, and for those with dementia as well (as long as they can enjoy the social time with you). It's not a support group but a time to socialize and get to know one another. I need to hear from you by Monday August 25 if you do plan to attend. 

Kingwood Caregiver Conference -- Registration is open!  You can begin registration from the Christ the King Lutheran Church home page https://christ4u.net/ Click on the rectangle for the caregiver conference and proceed from there. The advantage of early registration is that you will be guaranteed a seat in the workshops you choose. If they fill up, you will be assigned to a workshop with openings.

I will have copies available at the next meeting and at Kingwood Memory Cafe if you attend that August 5. As you will see, there are only 2 sessions, so you will only be able to select 2 workshops.
